Head Pastry Chef / 1* Michelin / Nordic / £ 38 000

We are looking for a Head Pastry Chef to join our Nordic 1* Michelin restaurant in Central London. The menu is simple yet carefully created dishes are complemented by a relaxed and attentive service all in a unique Nordic style.

A full kitchen brigade of 15 Chefs cooking for 100 covers per service. You will be working closely with the very talented Head Chef, who has worked and trained in some of the best restaurants in London. We follow the seasons and take inspiration from the suppliers who put their heart and soul into producing fantastic ingredients for us. The owners are looking into expanding the business so hard work and dedication could benefit you in the future.

Holidays per annum: 28 Days Shifts per week: 7 Days off per week: 2

The Chef

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Have a good command of the menu and the ingredients required.
  • Ensuring that food quality and portion control are always in line with company's specifications.
  • Handle the development and supervision of the Junior Chefs.
  • Oversee that all HACCP files are up to date and that the team practice and maintain the kitchen according to HACCP regulations.
  • Make sure all menu descriptions are up to date.
  • Maintain strict health & safety, and food hygiene standards.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for food.
