Our popular Basque restaurant in Central London has an excellent reputation for our food and service. We are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our brigade. A full kitchen brigade of 5 Chefs cooking for 40 covers per service. You will be creating and producing outstanding Basque cuisine using only the finest and freshest ingredients in the market.
The Chef
- Candidates will ideally have previous experience in a similar role.
- Have a good command of the menu and the ingredients required.
- Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exceptional standards.
- Handle the development and supervision of the Junior Chefs.
- Oversee that all staff practice and understand COSHH training on a daily basis.
- Oversee that all HACCP files are up to date and that the team practice and maintain the kitchen according to HACCP regulations.
- Be able to work all sections and manage a small brigade.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
