Our beautiful Japanese Izakaya style restaurant located in central London is part of a well-known Restaurant group. We are looking for a creative and hardworking Sous Chef to join our brigade. You will be working closely with the very talented Head Chef, who has worked and trained in some of the best restaurants. The menu serves casual yet refined Japanese cuisine using the very best British seasonal ingredients. The owners are looking into expanding the business so hard work and dedication could benefit you in the future.
The Chef
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Be able to take control and work all sections in the kitchen comfortably while maintaining the food standard. 
  • Fully understand all health and safety requirements in the kitchen. 
  • Take charge of the mise en place and stock control.
  • You must be a dedicated hard worker who wants to learn and develop your skills. 
  • Flexible work hours.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Be able to remain calm during high-pressure services.
